Pousada do Pequi is located in the Cerrado vegetation. The inn's name was chosen as a tribute to a native fruit of the Brazilian Cerrado. This fruit is used to produce delicious dishes like rice with pequi. The pequi is protected and shouldn't be terminated.
You will have a chance to contemplate the traditional Tree of northern Minas during your stay. At night you can make a delicious hot broth around the wood stove and enjoy a good conversation or a book.
