Itambé Peak is 2044 meters high and is located at Espinhaço Range and has a beautiful view that stretches kilometers away from its highest point. The peak was a reference point during the colonial period for the Pathfinders and Bandeirantes that passed through here.
In this tour, where you will have to get up before dawn, you'll need to be in good physical condition since it is a long journey to climb the peak, which is very steep. Along the way there are several waterfalls, small houses of residents, rocky grasslands and beautiful stone walls, very characteristic of the Espinhaço Range.
